I recently got to do my first ever book cover illustration! This will be the new cover for Avi’s young adult historical fiction novel, The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, published by Schoolastic.

So earlier I thought, "MAN, this is going to be a really great year for cosplaying! I'm going to go check when the Madoka Magica photo shoot is at AN this year!" just so we could get extra pictures because obviously we're going to be absolutely fabulous and when I got there THERE WAS NO PHOTO SHOOT. Cue me screaming in rage. WOW ANIME NORTH, RUDE. (sorry for ranting but SERIOUSLY WHY)

Auuugh seriously? That sucks so much!! A few weeks ago I saw people on a cosplay site discussing organising a Madoka photo shoot but they were planning it for Sunday afternoon, and that would be shitty for me too because I won’t be hanging around in costume after we check out of the hotel. BOOO. Maybe we can convince the other cosplayers to gather around us for a photoshoot with our Gravitational Pull of Coolness.
